The Impact of Information and Communication Technology on the Development of New International Markets

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of ICT on export development. The sampling method of this study is available or required and this study is a descriptive-correlational study. In this research, one main hypothesis and four sub-hypotheses have been tested. The statistical population under study in this study is 26 countries of vision of 1404 Islamic Republic of Iran whose data were collected during 2005-2015. The results of the main research hypothesis show that ICT has a significant impact on exports and the results of the subsidiary hypotheses show that economic complexity, human capital, physical capital, research and development have a significant impact on exports. The results of statistical tests showed that information and communication technology have a positive and significant relationship with export development. Confirmation of this result shows that in recent decades, it has affected the economic and social situation of the world countries and has led to economic development and exports in developed and developing countries, which has been able to bring many benefits to countries.
