Abstract
Innovation capability is a determining factor in competitiveness of accelerators, and the lack of a comprehensive model to determine the maturity and readiness of innovation capabilities in accelerators is necessary to prevents these organizations from sustainable and value-creating interactions with startups in the innovation ecosystem. The research aimed to present a model which its method is an applied in terms of purpose, carried out using the meta-synthesis method, based on the 7 steps of Sandelowski and Barroso's (2007) approach. Articles were searched based on research keywords in scientific databases during the years 2000-2025, and finally 47 articles met the inclusion in the study. Based on the findings of the meta-synthesis of the components of the accelerators’ innovation capability maturity model in the innovation ecosystem, 121 primary concepts, 23 subcategories, and 6 main categories were extracted. Finally, the maturity model presented in this study includes 4 levels of Pre-acceleration, growth acceleration, maturity acceleration, and excellence acceleration in 6 dimensions of operational capabilities, dynamic capabilities, research capabilities, environmental factors, network capabilities, and internal soft capabilities.
