The main objective of this study was to identify and prioritize the factors affecting the application of artificial intelligence in sustainable supply chain with a futures studies approach. In terms of purpose, this research is applied, and in terms of approach, it is mixed-method. In the qualitative phase, the meta-synthesis method based on the seven-step model of Sandelowski and Barroso was used to identify the dimensions and components. In the quantitative phase, futures studies and the structural cross-impact matrix method were employed to prioritize and analyze the relationships among the dimensions. The statistical population consisted of 16 experts, including managers, employees, and specialists in the fields of supply chain and artificial intelligence. In addition, international studies published from 2020 to 2026 and domestic studies published from 1399 to 1405 were reviewed. The collected data were analyzed using MAXQDA 24 in the qualitative phase and MICMAC 6.1 in the quantitative phase. The findings of the meta-synthesis indicated that 75 extracted indicators were classified into 14 components and six main dimensions: technology infrastructure and governance, agile operations and logistics, environmental sustainability, social sustainability, governance and ethics, and macroeconomic resilience. The futures studies results showed that technology infrastructure and governance, environmental sustainability, and macroeconomic resilience were driving factors, while governance and ethics, agile operations and logistics, and social sustainability were dependent factors. Therefore, strengthening technological infrastructure, economic resilience, and environmental resource management can provide the basis for achieving comprehensive sustainability in the supply chain.
